C. Not quite trust them, they are a bit messed up to trust.
D. Start to trust them more.
E. Have fun, pressure-less social engagements with them.
F. When they ask a direct question, be honest.

Result:
Person be gone. Hah. Great. The whole issue that stops me from entering into a relationship with this person is that they want to know what's going on beneath the surface.
So, I let them see.
Now the whole reason I can't enter into a relationship with this person is because they know.

What's worse; the exact position I am in is exactly the same as the one they are in - but they can't deal with it, even if you can (or at least give it a red hot go).
